This "snow cave" is quickly melting out. I think I was more sketched about getting down here than actually shooting inside it. Last time I creek walked didn't end well. I left this one darker, because you know, it is inside a tunnel :)



My first backpacking trip since fracturing my shoulder. So insane to think it was just 2 months ago, and now here I am backpacking (albeit easy day hikes) with 15lbs of gear.



Sadly, the wildflowers are behind last year, although above paradise the snow is actually LOWER than it was this time last year. Even Berkeley Park, which gets the first blooms in true park usually - is still a week or so out. I will be back.
